Old Q&A

Facebook memories brought up a Q&A that Michaela did 16 years ago. She tagged me because several answers included me.

I can hear her voice as if someone asked her the questions. I hear the playful sassy lilt in her voice as she answered question 18 asking if she is a bad influence. It made me laugh and smile as I read that.  Her description of a night in for question 19 was exactly her favorite thing to do. Watch movies or play games, but always a night in with each other we took over a night out always. I can’t even touch question 17 as hits hard.

Question 4 - Name someone who made you laugh today. She named me. Reading that I made her laugh and I haven’t heard her laugh for 5 years and won’t ever hear her laugh again made me sob big ugly tears. Missing our nights in and knowing we won’t again is devastating even after her being gone 5 years. It doesn’t get easier. Grief never ends and it is exhausting.
